With significant populations of Native Americans and those with Hispanic heritage, New Mexico boasts a rich, mixed cultural background making for rich pickings at the state’s flea markets and antique malls. Albuquerque is particularly interesting to visit from an antiquing perspective, as the city is home to two of the most famous antique malls in New Mexico: Antique Specialty Mall and Antique Connection Mall. The local history of The Land of Enchantment is wonderfully diverse, and chatting with knowledgeable market vendors at any of the regular flea markets is a fantastic way to pass the time. And of course, you will want to pick up a souvenir or two to remind you of the historical lessons learned here!
