The Georgetown Flea Market, affectionately known as the G-Town Flea, is a hidden gem in the heart of Georgetown. While not as large as the urban flea markets found in European cities like London or Paris, it is a regular destination for many prominent figures in the Washington D.C. area, including diplomats, politicians, and off-duty Supreme Court justices.
One of the most appealing aspects of the G-Town Flea is the diversity of the crowd and the items for sale. Visitors can find a wide range of antiques, collectibles, art, furniture, jewelry, and decorative arts, among other things. Vintage toys, dolls and art pottery are also among the items available. In addition, farm-fresh produce and artisan foods are sold at the market, which has an eco-friendly platform.
Perhaps the most exciting part of shopping at the Georgetown Flea Market is the opportunity to haggle with the vendors. This time-honored tradition of flea markets is alive and well in G-Town, and visitors are encouraged to try their hand at negotiating for the best price.
A visit to the Georgetown Flea Market is a great way to spend a weekend day, and there is something for everyone. Whether you are a collector, an art lover, a foodie, or just looking for a fun day out, the G-Town Flea is a must-visit destination.
In conclusion, the Georgetown Flea is a charming and unique addition to the Georgetown shopping scene. With a diverse crowd, a wide variety of items for sale, and the opportunity to haggle for the best price, it is easy to see why the G-Town Flea is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. If you're in the D.C. area, be sure to make time to check it out!

18th June 2015 at 18:10Been in business for 40 something years, this flea market has stood the test of time. If you think the prices are too high, ask for a better one. Still don’t like the price? maybe your too cheap. There’s yard sales and baby crap in woodbridge for you. This flea market still exists because the prices ARE good and there several fair, high quality dealers who arrive every single Sunday.
