Just a few tram stops away from Piazza del Popolo, this stylish weekly vintage market is nestled away a little away from the tourist attractions of the city, and allows you to enjoy a short break from the hectic pace of Rome. Situated within a derelict bus depot yard, Mercato Borghetto Flaminio is full to the brim with kitsch trinkets and knick knacks, antiques, collectibles and retro designer accessories.
Keep in mind that this market does charge an entrance fee, however, it's only a small amount of €1.60. Which is well worth it, considering you will certainly come away with bundles of new treasures. This market is well-known for showcasing high-quality vintage trinkets and antiques.
This market has something to suit every style; whether you're into minimalist European furniture or intricately patterned and flamboyant decorations - you will find a mixture of everything at Mercato Borghetto Flaminio. Every week there are stacks of new items to sieve through, as vendors are constantly changing.
The area of Flaminio is calm, green and very residential. Quite different to the usual hustle and bustle of Rome, this is the place to come for a well-deserved rest in the typically loud Italian capital. The sellers are friendly and approachable. They will play it cool and wait for you to come to them, which is a nice change from most market vendors trying to lure you in with heckles of deals and discounts.
For a pleasant vintage shopping experience with a warm ambiance, spend a chilled out Sunday rummaging through antique delights at Mercato Borghetto Flaminio.

2nd October 2022 at 17:24Hi Jay, thanks for your feedback. this information is indeed available, but you need to be logged in to the site to see it. You’d see that the market is open every Sunday except in July and August when the market is closed for the summer holidays – like most flea markets in Italy.
