Huntsville Antiques Show

Held once a year in September in historic Huntsville, the Huntsville Antiques Show welcomes 65 quality dealers from across the U.S. offering a wide array of antiques to suit every budget and taste. The Huntsville Antiques Show is usually held in the air-conditioned comfort of the Walker County Fairgrounds, just three miles West of Huntsville on Highway 30 (I-45 Exit 116). From Furniture and fine Estate Jewelry to Glassware, silverware, linens, Baccarat, Lalique, Kitchen Collectibles, Books, Postcards, Primitives, Art, the Huntsville Antiques Show has something for everyone.

Historic downtown Huntsville, Texas, is also known for its excess of antique and boutique stores. It is a wonderful shopping location with plenty of one-of-a-kind treasures to uncover and bring home. Of course, there are also many restaurants and coffee shops, so a chance to recharge the shopping batteries is never hard to come by. Since it lies just 70 miles north of Houston, it is easy to plan for a day trip here to enjoy the shopping while on a longer break in the big city.

Though many of the vintage and antique stores are clustered in the downtown area of Huntsville, it is worth a short diversion out of town for a couple of gems. Uptown Vintage in the Avenues is also an outlier to the main cluster of stores, though is still found centrally. The store front looks more like someone’s house, with their furniture spilling out onto the sidewalk. Such a display of goods invites passers-by to stop in and take a closer look!

Found in the thick of the main shopping area of Huntsville is Sam Houston Antique Mall. With amazing antiques and collectibles spread over four floors, this incredible mall will take some time to fully explore. The staff here are so friendly and helpful, the day will pass you by as you sink into the nostalgic vibes here. Not too far away from here is the Bluebonnet Square Antique Mall, another large store with a plethora of antiques on offer. It is a real treat to find so many quality vintage and antique stores in Huntsville lined up along the same block. Most of them are open daily too, so whenever you happen to be in Huntsville you can always pop into a few of the incredible antique stores.
