La Grande Foire à Tout des Andelys

Les Andelys might not be the first touristic place that comes to mind when you’re visiting France. Located near the A13 highway connecting Paris to the coast of Normandy, this city becomes nonetheless once a year, the center of attention of flea market enthusiasts and bargain hunters.

The Grande Foire à Tout des Andelys is one of the largest flea market fair in Normandy. An institution on its own, this fair brings together once a year on the first weekend of September, more than 800 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors.

From junk, antique wooden furniture, vintage bed linen and laces, to books, jewelery, gramophone, crockery, porcelain, paintings, and a wide selection of classic and unusual collectible, the Grande Foire à Tout des Andelys is a 4 square miles (7 km²) paradise for bargain hunters and antiques lovers.

But above all, the Grande Foire à Tout des Andelys is known for its warm and cheeky atmosphere, where hundreds of vendors, all passionate about their work, skillfully distill their advice to other enthusiasts and passers-by.
