Smithfield Monthly Pickers Markets

Nestled in the Hampton Roads region of Smithfield, Virginia, the Smithfield Vintage Market is a celebration of vintage charm and historic treasures. This event offers two distinct experiences.

The monthly Pickers Markets, held in the heart of historic downtown Smithfield, feature approximately 15 vendors spread over three blocks, amidst more than 70 buildings from the Colonial, Federal, and Victorian eras. Held on the second Saturday of each month April through November, these markets offer an eclectic mix of vintage items alongside food trucks, local baked goods, and handcrafted items, providing a delightful blend of past and present.

In addition, the annual Spring Vintage Market in Windsor, Virginia, attracts more than 100 vendors. Held at the Isle of Wight County Fairgrounds and Main Street in Smithfield, it’s a treasure trove of vintage items, antiques and repurposed goods. From French country and mid-century modern to retro and kitsch, this market is a haven for lovers of all things vintage. The Spring Vintage Market is a two-day event, held once each April/May and September, featuring an array of items that pre-date 1980. Despite its recent inception, the market has already seen significant growth and recognition, including a 2018 award from Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Best of Readers’ Choice Awards.
