Vintage Fest Mercantic Barcelona

Mercantic Barcelona is a hub of antique and retro treasures in the Sant Cugat suburb. It first opened its doors in 1992 with the desire to become one of the most influential centers of reference for vintage-lovers in Spain.

Located in a calm and rural area just 30 minutes from the center of Barcelona by train or car. Mercantic Barcelona is an indoor market that hosts over two hundred vendors, grouped into an area of around 15,000 sqm. The flea market opens every single Sunday (except for August), showcasing 80 permanent vendors selling their vintage knick-knacks, oddities, curiosities, and quirky souvenirs.

On the first Sunday of every month Mercantic Barcelona transforms into a blast-from-the-past bonanza called ‘Fest Vintage’. The organizers really up their game and provide even more choices for shoppers such as the library of El Siglo, which exhibits more than one hundred thousand books forming the largest bookshop in Spain. What’s more, they put on live music, kids play area and food stalls serving up Catalan specialties such as Escudella and Pa Amb Tomàquet.
