The International Antiques and Collectors Fair (IACF) has introduced a groundbreaking antiques fair experience at Stoneleigh with the Celebration of Antiques. Going far beyond the traditional formats that antique enthusiasts have come to know over the years, this event embodies a refreshing blend of the classic and the contemporary.
Visitors will particularly appreciate the event's harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor exhibits. Located near Coventry, the expansive showground is set in 250 acres of picturesque Warwickshire countryside. The venue is the largest site without an established trade show and can accommodate more than 1000 booths, both indoors and outdoors. This strategic location, coupled with its thoughtfully designed surroundings, ensures both intimacy and accessibility. It welcomes visitors from across the UK and abroad to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of antiques and encourages meaningful interaction with the dedicated dealers who present each piece.
The Celebration of Antiques marks a return to Stoneleigh for the IACF, which first held events there from about 1993 to 2000 when it was part of DMG Fairs, and made a brief return in 2013. This time, however, there have been some significant changes: the event will include both indoor and outdoor stalls, and the parking lot will now be inside the venue. Gone are the days of navigating parking mazes at a distance; attendees can now conveniently park within the venue premises, ensuring they step into the event with enthusiasm, not exhaustion.
Will Thomas, Director of IACF, expressed his enthusiasm about the evolution, saying, “The ‘Celebration’ of Antiques at Stoneleigh isn't just an event. It’s a vibrant homage to history and craftsmanship. We're elevating the entire experience – from treasure hunting with top-notch dealers to engaging antique talks, live music, and captivating on-site entertainment. Our goal is to cater to diverse interests, ensuring everyone finds a piece of the past to connect with.”
Furthermore, IACF is not just stopping at tangible antiques. They're infusing life into the event with a lineup of interactive sessions, music, and entertainment. It’s not just about purchasing an item; it's about immersing oneself in the stories they tell and the eras they represent. For real-time excitement and the latest buzz surrounding this transformative event, IACF encourages everyone to stay connected via their Social Media channels.
Antique enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone with a penchant for history should mark their calendars: Stoneleigh's 'Celebration' of Antiques promises an unparalleled journey into the world of yesteryears.
