With its picturesque location on the coast of Mobile Bay, Fairhope, Alabama has plenty to offer visitors to the area. It is known for the sweeping, panoramic views of the bay and the number of gorgeous parks in the town. Its vibrant shopping scene is also a draw for many, and the number of antique shops in this fairly small town has really put it on the map for collectors and antiquing enthusiasts.

A couple of the antique stores in Fairhope offer a wonderful view of the bay from their front doors. The Silver Market and Lace Emporium is a rather specialized store and is the place to bring your silver jewelry for repair and restoration. Of course, there is plenty to buy in this store too! The owners are passionate about keeping items from the past in good condition and preserving the memories contained within.

The main cluster of antique shops in Fairhope is found within a four-block radius downtown. Fairhope Estate Jewelry and Coin Co and Brenny’s Jewelry Company have got those seeking antique jewelry more than covered. Those on the hunt for collectibles from Europe should not miss the chance to pop into Aubergine Antiques, who stock has a wide selection of culinary antiques and oriental rugs from all over Europe, including Italy, Germany, Belgium, England, and France. Betty Haynie Antiques and Fine Art carries some of the finest antiques on the Eastern shore, with a focused selection of inventory from 18th and 19th century France, England, and America as well as Chinese exports.

For those that want to see a bit of everything under one roof, Fairhope has some larger antique stores with eclectic mixes of goods within. Downtown Antiques has a fantastic selection of a wide range of different antiques. Crown and Colony Antiques has everything from European tapestries to Americana. Copper Roof Antiques looks like a small store, but visitors will be pleasantly surprised at the vast space hidden behind its modest entrance. Fairhope definitely has antiques to please collectors from all walks of life!
