The “Gare du Neuss” is located directly behind the main eponymous train station, in the heart of Neuss (15 minutes by train from Dusseldorf central station). This venue once was used as a freight train station and, since 2010, hosts a traditional flea market, cafés, and event venue.
The Gare du Neuss Trödelmarkt, as it is locally called, is very popular in the area, particularly since visitors to the flea market can also have breakfast in the beautiful vintage café located nearby!
Items sold at the Gare du Neuss flea market, range from junk and decorative objects to collectibles and antiques. Therefore, exhibitors selling at this flea market are not only professionals selling quality junk and antiques, but also private individuals who wish to dispose of the old treasures they have kept in their attic.
Note that, in order to maintain a certain quality standard at the Gare du Neuss flea market, items like second-hand plastic toys, mobile phone accessories, DVDs and other textiles are not allowed on the premises.
Apart from the flea market operation, the beautiful halls of the Gare du Neuss regularly host several special markets, like Beats & excursions, as well as a night flea market with DJs and live music, designers and kids stuff.
