How Bazaar Antiques and Collectibles occupies approximately 3000 square feet and is located in Colac, Australia. The owners have long been passionate about all things old, unique and collectible and have been buying and selling since the 90's. Their huge store has been catering to antique and collecting enthusiasts since 2006, with most of that time spent in Geelong. In 2019, the store moved to its current location. Thanks to the move, it was able to grow a bit and stock many more curious antique and vintage items for customers to admire.
The building that houses How Bazaar Antiques and Collectibles has been in use in one form or another since 1952. In the past, it has been used as a factory, workshop and storage space. It has undergone a wonderful transformation to become the How Bazaar, which is now impossible to miss with its bright purple paint job! Situated right on the main road, its location in Western Victoria's stunning tourist region means it gets plenty of passers-by, many of whom make an impromptu stop to check out the exciting items on offer.
Although the owners of How Bazaar Antiques and Collectibles are passionate about their trade and source many of their items personally, they also provide space in their store for independent traders to set up stalls and sell their wares. This means that visitors to the store are treated to a wide and varied selection of vintage and antique collectibles. Shoppers can expect to find all kinds of road signs, furniture, lamps and lighting fixtures, vintage toy cars, old gas pumps, model airplanes, suitcases, typewriters, chinaware, sewing machines, bicycles and much more.
How Bazaar Antiques and Collectibles is the kind of store where you need to spend some time and be prepared to rummage. There are so many items crammed in and displayed on every possible square inch of space that it will take some time to be sure you see everything. However, if you are looking for something specific, you can always ask the owners for directions. Surprisingly, they know where everything is.
