Knick Knacks Antique Mall stands large and proud in a shopping complex in Texas, USA. Upon driving into the area, this is the store that draws the eye and lures you over. The red brick walls do not reveal much of the interior, so you have to step through the doors to find out what kind of thing is hidden within. Once you are in, the rest of the day’s plans will be swept out the window, as a few hours exploring the treasures on sale here is a day well spent!
In 1992, Sam and Kathy Jones, along with their son, set up Knick Knacks Antique Mall. The original intent was for it to be an antiques and crafts mall. Such was the popularity of vintage and antique goods that the mall was soon dedicated to just that and made space for up to 200 independent vendors to trade their precious wares under one roof. More than 20,000 square feet of space means that there is more than enough room for everyone in this antique mall. Additional floor space is also available for rent for people to host workshops or demonstrations related to collecting, restoration, crafts, or seasonal happenings.
Since 2017, Knick Knacks Antique Mall has been in the hands of new owners, another couple whose children are also passionate about the business. The mall continues to only grow in popularity. Though the owners have changed, many of the vendors have remained over the years. They come from all over North Texas to share their wares with other collectors and antiquing enthusiasts. In 2021, this mall was named Best Antique Store by local news agencies thanks to a reader poll, which shows how this store is embraced by the local community.
Thanks to the 200 different vendors, shoppers never know what they might find upon a visit to Knick Knacks Antique Mall. A little bit of everything is available here, from art and antiques to accessories and collectibles, fine home décor and furniture, vintage clothing, and more. Since there is always something new to see, it is worth coming back again and again!
