The National Botanic Gardens of Wales Antique Fair is a very special event indeed. Situated in the heart of picturesque and historic Carmarthenshire and yet just minutes from the M4 corridor, it is a unique location for the Antiques Fair and Vintage Market. The whole event is something of a hidden gem, and as the market only takes place over four weekends a year, it is one not to be missed.
The National Botanic Gardens of Wales Antiques Fair has grown steadily since 2010. There are now more than 50 professional stallholders selling at the fair and the number of visitors continues to grow. One of the attractions is the sheer variety of antiques on offer in this fantastic setting and, of course, the fact that buyers are free to wander around the gardens at their leisure as they search for their desired collectibles. It may be the only setting of its kind for an antique market in the country.
Quality antiques are available at The National Botanic Gardens of Wales Antique Fair, and they are well mixed with vintage items and a touch of retro flair. Fine displays of silverware can be seen alongside jewelry, textiles, large and small furniture, clocks and watches, china, vintage clothing, books, stamp collections, posters and postcards, telephones, bicycles and much more.
The organizers of The National Botanic Gardens of Wales Antique Fair make the most of every available space. Stallholders are creative with their displays and there are stalls set up in indoor areas as well as tables in outdoor areas sheltered by temporary marquees. This means that this event can be enjoyed whatever the weather, which is important for the UK, especially as one of the weekend markets is usually held in January!
