The Shrewsbury Flea - Antique and Collectors Fair, a burgeoning hotspot for antique enthusiasts and casual collectors alike, convenes four times a year at the expansive West Mid Showground. With each show, the event cements its reputation as a leader in the next generation of antique and collector events.
The show has quickly grown to accommodate over 120 vendors and the crowds speak volumes of its success, with over 4,000 visitors gracing the venue each opening weekend. What makes the Shrewsbury Flea so attractive? It's the combination of quality merchandise and the friendly atmosphere fostered by both the vendors and the organizers, JOS events.
JOS Events has masterfully created an environment that is as welcoming as it is efficient. The layouts are thoughtfully designed to allow the crowds to meander through the booths without a hint of the claustrophobia that often plagues such gatherings. This relaxed atmosphere allows for leisurely browsing and easy conversation with vendors who are more than willing to share insights about their treasures or offer home decorating advice.
The range of items for sale is as diverse as the clientele it attracts. Whether it's a piece of art that speaks to one's soul, a vintage poster that evokes a bygone era, classic jewelry that embodies the elegance of bygone eras, or a quirky globe that sparks conversation in the den, the Shrewsbury Flea has it all. It's a place where that elusive find awaits for every home, taste and budget, from antique furniture and silverware, to retro lamps, vintage prams, and garden tools.
The Shrewsbury Flea - Antique and Collectors Fair retains the quintessential charm of a traditional flea market, with vendors displaying their wares on makeshift tables, often directly from their vans. This creates a uniquely dynamic and somewhat rustic shopping experience, true to the spirit of flea markets worldwide.
Despite its exposure to the unpredictable British weather, the vibrant atmosphere of the market remains undamped, come rain or shine. It's a testament to the fair's vibrant community and shared passion for the antique and the unique.

16th October 2020 at 15:22This is one of my favourite fairs in the country. An excellent fair to both trade at and visit. There is always a vast amount of antiques to look at both indoors and out and the atmosphere at this fair is always pleasant and welcoming. Trade buyers can get into the fair free of charge which is a great touch by JOS.
