Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, The Factory Antique Mall in Verona, VA, is a sight to behold. Like the splendor of the Valley and its surrounding rivers and mountains, the market itself is quite impressive. At 130,000 sq. ft., The Factory Antique Mall is the largest antique malls in America, and it is still growing.

Every year, thousands of locals and tourists alike flock to the orange and yellow building just off of I-81, exit 227, to visit Virginia’s antique and bargain-shopping destination. In business since 1996, The Factory Antique Mall is known for its vast selection of high-quality antiques and vintage collectibles.

In its past life, the building was home to the Genesco Clothing Factory for 30 years, before becoming the shopping hub it is today. Since its transformation, the mall has grown rapidly in size as well as prestige.

Over the years, the business has won a slew of awards, including winning best antique mall in the Valley from the Virginia Living Magazine for six consecutive years. In 2017, the mall was also recognized for their numerous exceptional Yelp reviews with a “People Love Us On Yelp” award.

From their expansive inventory of antique and vintage items to their fantastic location, The Factory Antique Mall has earned a stellar reputation which even Hollywood producers could not help but notice. The Factory Antique Mall has played a significant hand in set dressing for the film, “Lincoln,” and AMC series “Turn.”

A variety of vendors call the mall home, including antiquarians, artists, and artisans. You’ll find everything from rare vinyl and collectible trinkets to beautiful handmade decor and housewares. If all the shopping whets your appetite, stop by the Tasty Bites cafe, which serves breakfast all day as well as sandwiches, burgers, salads, and more.

Whether you’re an amateur collector or a devout treasure hunter, you’ll find something to love at The Factory Antique Mall, should it be a 19th Century furniture piece or antique farm tools, delicate blown glass or elegant home furnishings. The Mall is open seven days a week and provides ample parking for trucks as well as RVs and buses. Because of its size and vast selection, set aside at least a few hours to explore and enjoy this shopping hub.
