Located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the Trackside Mall and Antique Gallery is one of the West’s most unique shopping locations. This building dates back to the early days of Idaho Falls, originally known as Eagle Rock. Idaho Falls was greatly influenced by the construction of the railroad system in 1879 and is therefore a perfect spot for enthusiasts of railroad history, including collectible items relating to it! In the late 90s, previous owners of the building undertook massive renovation works. The character and charm of the original building still remain, but it now hosts one of the largest shopping experiences of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.
The Trackside Mall and Antique Gallery is a perfect fit for shoppers of all kinds. Whether you enjoy antique malls, museum-like atmospheres, flea markets, crafts fairs, or simply like to indulge in nostalgia for days of long ago, make this a must-visit on your travels through Idaho Falls. A modern elevator makes accessing the three floors of showrooms and merchandise an enjoyable experience for everyone, admission is free and there is plenty of parking for everyone.
Many different vendors trade under the roof of the Trackside Mall and Antique Gallery. Each one has their own area of particular interest and is happy to chat with visitors about the items they have for sale. Of course, there is often a hidden story behind many of the vintage and antique goods, and it is these stories that are the most fascinating thing to learn. The different vendors display coin collections, western hardware, rustic cookware, handcrafted housewares, ironworks, horseshoe racks, vintage signs, porcelain vases, ceramic bowls, clocks, boot jacks, bridles, dolls, cabinet hardware, old photos and frames, and hundreds, if not thousands of antique collectible pieces.
Trackside Mall and Antique Gallery definitely has something for everyone. It is a wonderful space to walk through whether you intend to buy or not, though after seeing so much unique merchandise it will be hard indeed to leave empty-handed.
