East Market Milano is one of the most famous vintage markets in Italy. Still relatively new to the scene, in 2018 it moved to a large indoor warehouse, allowing the market to take place all year round, rain or shine. With over 300 vendors each month, East Market Milano has become a meeting place for collectors from all over Italy and beyond to enjoy the wares and browse the stalls.
East London markets such as Brick Lane, Old Spitalfields and Hackney Flea Market were the inspiration for the name East Market Milano. This flea market was a home-grown idea, the brainchild of two vintage enthusiasts with a love of all things second-hand and retro. What started as a swap meet between friends soon grew into the popular flea market that East Market Milano is today, and professional dealers have since joined the crowd of private individuals selling their wares.
East Market Milano offers such a wide variety of goods that visitors will never be bored. There are clothes and accessories, CDs and record collections, furniture, books, posters, comics and magazines, military memorabilia, retro lamps, video games, tools, electronics, ornaments and much more. As well as professional dealers and more typical private sellers selling their own wares, there are also local artists and designers who take the opportunity to display their wares and DIY projects. It is therefore a great opportunity for all who attend.
The prices of the items sold at East Market Milano are very fair and there are some wonderful bargains to be found. Visitors should be prepared to haggle and not take no for an answer!
In addition to the market area, East Market Milano has become almost as well known for its food stalls as it is for its vintage goods. There is a large area devoted to refreshments, and here you can feast! There is an appetising selection of local specialities and, of course, plenty of wine and beer to sample! A
