The Old Strathcona Antique Mall has been a feature in the historic Old Strathcona area of Edmonton in Alberta since the late 1990s. It is the largest antique mall in Western Canada, with wonderful items spread over 27,000 square feet and arranged between two floors. Stepping into this mall is like taking a step back in time, and with more than 120 vendors housed under this one huge roof visitors can easily spend the whole day lost in the past.
The owners of the Old Strathcona Antique Mall are a mother and daughter team, with a lifelong passion for antique and vintage collectables. In the creation of this mall, they were determined to source only the finest antiques, and select vendors of the highest quality to populate their mall. The layout has been carefully thought through, to allow visitors to easily walk around and take in all of the wonderful items for sale. One area of the store is dedicated to books, called the Book Nook, and free coffee is available here for those immersed in these treasures.
Whether you are a serious collector or just an admirer of quality vintage goods, the Old Strathcona Antique Mall will certainly meet your needs. Anyone searching for fine antiques and special collectables will find plenty to spend their money on here. Shoppers will find retro furniture, fine china ware, art work, glass, vinyl records and record players, toys, sports memorabilia, Americana and so much more.
Those that need a little more sustenance than the free coffee on offer at the Old Strathcona Antique Mall's Book Nook can head to the fantastic, 1950s themed Retro Cafe. They stock a great range of snacks and refreshments, with plenty of old school decorations to look at too. It makes it all to easy to spend the whole day looking around this awesome store.
