Sunbury Antiques Market

One of the largest and longest running twice-monthly market in the UK, and a sprawling flea market, which showcases an astonishing variety of wares

Held at Kempton Park Racecourse, Sunbury Antiques Market is one of the real gems among English venues. Easily accessible by train from London, this sprawling, substantial flea market, showcases an astonishing variety of wares, fine and rustic, antique and vintage.

Twice a month, Sunbury Antiques Market attracts well over 700 inside and outside stallholders throughout three indoor halls and outside hard standing drive-in area. Vendors attending the market always have a vast range of antique goods on offer, including furniture, gold and silverware, jewelry, ceramics, kitchenalia, vintage and vintage fashion, garden ephemera, clocks, paintings, cameras books and much, much more. Antiques and vintage dealers mingle with collectors, interior decorators, prop buyers and young people looking for something distinctive and unusual to decorate their flat.

In addition to the fair amount of British vendors, many stallholders arrive from the continent with their own Regional specialty offerings such as French farmhouse furniture, Belgian chandeliers and industrial pieces and with an abundance of good European rustic furniture.

From a buyer perspective, Sunbury Antiques Market appeals to traders and buyers not just from the UK and Europe, but from much further afield, as the fair also attracts a large number of overseas visitors from America and the Far East.

  1. Huge antiques fair that happens every other Tuesday morning. Everything from furniture and rugs on the outside to jewellery and chinaware on the inside. Hey there early before 7:30am to get first pick but goes on to 2:00 pm. Don’t expect super cheap flea market prices though, but gems and bargains to be found!

  2. This is an excellent dealers trading place for most vintage items. Extensive range of goodies from luxury furs to fabulous furniture. One if my favorites is my own premium range in The Gold Room, great costume jewellery and fabulous fur coats. Buying isn’t cheap but if you’re looking for a specialist item this Is The Place. A Fabulous day out bring loads of cash.

  3. If you have never been – then you are missing out. First of all, it’s free. Secondly, there is just so much to look at. Granted I’m not an antiques dealer and I guess I know not what is good value and what is not but none the less, just got the visual feast it is do worth a visit.
