The Los Angeles Show takes place over two days once a year. The dates are during December, though they do change each year so collectors and art enthusiasts will want to keep an eye on news relating to this event! This is a premier art and antiquing event in the USA and is highly anticipated each year. Exhibitors will come from across the US, Canada, and Europe to take part, so it is a fantastic chance for visitors to see some national and international pieces.
The chosen location for the Los Angeles Show is actually just outside of LA in Glendale. This large event hall provides the perfect space for around 50 different professional dealers to create their exhibitions and show off their wares. To take part as a dealer, a stringent application is required with a minimum of three references, so it is not the easiest process and ensures that only the highest quality pieces will be displayed at these events. Visitors can therefore rest assured that anything they see is authentic and quality-controlled.
Since the Los Angeles Show only takes place for such a short window during the year, visitors will want to attend both the days that the show is running. There is a small entrance fee to pay, but this is more than worth it for the chance to see some amazing antiques and works of art. Visitors will find fine antique furniture, jewelry and watches, silver, paintings, rugs, Asian pieces, pottery, porcelain, crystal, textiles, bronzes, and much more.
At the Los Angeles Show, there are pieces representing all design movements of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries and including vintage 20th-century modern. The exhibition hall is arranged to look more like a museum than a sales floor, so it is such a treat to be able to browse such wonderful pieces with the idea that any of them could end up in your home!
