Since 1990, The Summit Antiques Center has been the New York area's premier destination for all things antique and vintage. Located in the historic town of Summit, New Jersey, the store is the longest operating antique center in the state. When you walk in, it looks and feels a bit like an extremely organized warehouse, with high ceilings and various booths arranged to guide you through the displays. It can take a while to fully explore this place, so be sure to set aside a few hours for your treasure hunt!
There are about 50 different antique dealers at the Summit Antiques Center. They are spread out over two floors, and it is easy to see who owns which stall as you walk through. Initially, the owners occupied just one wing of this huge and historic building, but within a decade they had expanded to fill the entire space. This building has been here since the early 1900's and it looks like it will be here for many decades to come thanks to the success of the Antique Mall.
The dealers that operate out of the Summit Antiques Center are required to be around on a rotating schedule, so there are always plenty of helping hands ready to assist your hunt if you need it! There are so many antiques here that it is impossible to leave empty-handed, whether you are just browsing or looking for something specific. Among the booths you can expect to find telephones, glassware, furniture, jewelry, records, postcards, paintings, dolls, ornaments, stuffed animals, statues, toys, vases, and more.
The Summit Antiques Center is always looking for new dealers to expand their selection of antiques and provide the best service to their customers. They are open every day, so any time is a good time to shop!
