Tricia’s Treasures
Tricia’s Treasures began 40 years ago with the vision of the founder Tricia Thomas. Tricia herself was the second-generation antique lover in her family. Her mom and dad owned Roberta’s Browse and Buy in East Lake.
Tricia started a shop next door to theirs with a style of her own that has continued to evolve. The third generation of this family is also on board with this antiquing passion! People have consistently been able to count on her eye for finding interesting and great pieces, for prices that won’t break the bank, which is why, after so many successful years, it is now hard to imagine Homewood, Alabama without this wonderful antique store.
Though all antiques are admired at Tricia’s Treasures, there is a special love for antique furniture. It may be assumed that antique furniture can be easily found in any antique store, but there is something special about the pieces on display at this store. They are the result of three important factors: the desire of the customer, special, skilled pickers, and Tricia’s eye. These things mean that the kind of antiques found at Tricia’s Treasures are truly one of a kind.
The stock of Tricia’s Treasures is very much driven by what customers want. Therefore, a personalized experience is guaranteed when shopping in this antique store. The types of furnishings found in Tricia’s Treasure range from French provincial furniture and antique mirrors, to lighting fixtures, artwork, rugs, and of course everything one would expect from dining room sets to wardrobes. It is aptly named as it is, without doubt, a treasure-trove!
The staff at Tricia’s Treasures want you to find the exact item that you have been dreaming about, whether to spruce up your home or to add to your specific collection. If it is not in their store, they will go to every effort to make sure they find the antique you are looking for. This level of service is one of the reasons that this family has been in the antiquing business for so many years and generations!
