Bussey's Flea Market is a family owned and run business with a vibrant atmosphere. First established in 1978, this popular flea market now has three generations of employees. This Texan shopping destination has steadily grown over the past 39 years and now hosts more than 500 vendors.
Customers can shop at Bussey's Flea Market safe in the knowledge that they will not be met with pushy sales people. Everyone who comes here, whether to sell or buy, has a strong passion for all-things-vintage. The eccentric variety of items contain things people couldn’t even dream of. Expect to find retro cameras, 8-track tapes, vintage games consoles, old-fashioned dresses, instruments, ornate lampshades and wooden dressing tables.
This market is suitable for the whole family. There are food stands that sell kid-friendly dishes, ice cream and snow cones. For the adults there are beer stands and lots of delicious snacks such as, tacos, nachos and burgers. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed on the site, unless they are guide dogs or another service animal.
Not only are there hundreds of quality antiques and vintage trinkets for sale, there are also craft booths, handmade items and recent second-hand goods. This market is the ideal location for an entertaining family day trip. The parking area is paved and only costs $1, there are plenty of bathrooms and designated rest areas.
The best time to go is during autumn - the market is predominantly outside and it can get very hot and humid the summer season. Don't worry about withdrawing money beforehand, as there are two ATM machines on-site. All you need to bring is yourself and an open mind!

5th July 2021 at 19:05Was worth the stop! A lot of vendors with a variety of items. The only downside was the bathrooms. I have been in a lot of public bathrooms but this one was by far the worst. It was filthy and the smell was awful! I walked in and decided to walk right back out.
