City Wide Garage Sale is a gem of a vintage and antique market, and one of the best of its kind in Texas. Born in 1977 out of concern that the great American tradition of garage sales may be lost in the area, the organizers of City Wide Garage Sale decided to bring all the sales under one roof to save people having to travel around too much. It was a winning idea, and this market has grown in such a way over the year to now attract high-end vintage and antique items, and of course, the serious collectors follow! City Wide Garage Sale is also a perfect place to enjoy a step back in time and take in the nostalgic vibes created here for all.
There is a wide range of vendors found at City Wide Garage Sale. This antique market features regulars that can always be found in the same spots and plenty of first-timers to ensure that there is always a great variety of attendees. Some of the wares are precious indeed, and collectors may want to pay a little more for the early bird entry to get first look. It is also a venue that welcomes vendors who are simply downsizing or clearing out their houses, therefore displaying more typical flea-market wares.
Larger items are not commonly found at City Wide Garage Sale since logistically it is not the easiest space to be transporting huge pieces of furniture either into or out of! However, there are plenty of other goods to keep each and every visitor entertained. There are fantastic jewelry collections, toys, ornaments, china pieces, some military memorabilia, fabulous vintage clothing, mirrors, pictures, lighting and lamps, gardening tools and plenty of curios to be found.
Visitors should not be put off by some of the high prices at City Wide Garage Sale. Bargaining is greatly welcomed, and paying cash can secure an even better price, so shoppers are guaranteed a good deal here.
