The Early Owego Antique Center is a multi-dealer antique mall located in historic Owego, New York. The building was formerly JJ Newbury's department store, which opened in 1958, but unfortunately closed in 2011. Thankfully, in 2013, new owners decided that the building should remain an integral part of the town's shopping center and created the antique mall that it is today. They kept the signage from the old department store on one side of the building and created a beautiful mural with the name of the Antique Mall on the other side. With its prominent location on the corner of an intersection, it is impossible to miss from any angle!
The Early Owego Antique Center is home to approximately 100 independent antique dealers. Spread over two floors, they display thousands of antique and vintage treasures for shoppers to admire and covet! Each dealer's area is well organized so you can move from one to the next. There is a central area for shopping, so the individual vendors are usually not present. It is not always easy to make a deal, but there is a wide range of prices throughout the store so there is something to suit all budgets.
With so many different vendors at the Early Owego Antique Center, there is a wide variety of antique and vintage collectibles to be found here. Shoppers can expect to find stuffed animals, vintage clothing, china, furniture, kitchenware, tools, hats, art, posters, vintage toys, lamps, sports memorabilia, TV and movie memorabilia, Americana and more.
The Early Owego Antique Center has a fantastic location in Owego and is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and other shopping centers. This makes it worthwhile to spend a day or weekend in the area. The Antique Center is also open almost every day, so any time is a good time to visit.
