The Flohmarkt im Olympiapark – also known as Münchner Olympiapark Flohmarkt – is held twice a week on the Parkharfe located between the Allianz Arena and the Werner-von-Linde Hall. The 35,000 square meters of the premises provide plenty of space for about 450 exhibitors to showcase their merchandise, under the auspices of the Bavarian Red Cross which is in charge of the event.
The Flohmarkt im Olympiapark is like a giant garage sale. According to the market regulations, vendors may sell all kinds of items typically found in a household, like second hand appliances, crockery, glassware, bicycles, clothes, computers, knick-knacks, but also vintage furniture and some antique collectibles. There is no restriction in terms of the age of the items.
The accessibility of the site by public transport also ensures a pleasant journey without having to worry about finding a parking space. Last but not least, a visit to the Flohmarkt im Olympiapark can also be combined with a shopping day at the nearby Olympia Shopping Centre.
