Spend your day sifting through the massive inventory at Texas Pickers 1st Saturday antique sale and flea market. There is a wide selection of fine antiques and fishing, sporting and advertising collectables, as well as intricately hand-painted vintage china and crockery. No matter the weather, this market promises to open on the first Saturday of every single month.
Texas Pickers is located in the breath-taking Navasota hill which is just northwest of Houston. This market is spread out on three floors in a historic barn, there are also specialised vendors and tents outside. For shabby chic Texan furniture, crockery and other home-ware items visit the main floor. The upper deck is full to the brim with even more fine bone china and vintage bits and bobs. Make sure to bring cash with you, as they unfortunately don't accept cards and there are not any cash machines on site.
The founders of Texas Pickers, Bill and Melanie have been in the vintage and antique trading business for over 25 years. They founded the County Line Antiques Show in Carmine, however after a while they decided it was time to give up the week-long event for something a little more simple.
Texas Pickers is growing in size and strength every month. Bill and Melanie are always on the look out for new vendors. Giving customers more interesting products to choose from, such as antiques, collectables, fine china, glass, crystal and hunting, fishing memorabilia and taxidermy. There is also a small selection of food stands and a BBQ. There is a lot of hype surrounding Texas Pickers, so don't miss out!
