Union Street Antiques is one of the finest antique malls in the area. It is located in the heart of downtown Rochester, New Hampshire. The owners have decades of experience as former owners of a furniture store, and have easily made the transition to antiques and collectibles. They create such a friendly atmosphere inside that all customers feel equally welcome, and regulars feel like they are visiting old friends when they stop by!
There is much more to Union Street Antiques than meets the eye. The first floor is so large that it can take a couple of hours to fully explore everything on display. There is also a basement and upstairs, each with just as many treasures to discover. Just when you think you are done with the main building, there is a second, albeit smaller, annex with even more collectibles to see! All in all, there are approximately 12,500 square feet to walk around and 150 different dealers to meet. You may find that one day is simply not long enough.
The dealers at Union Street Antiques are nicely scattered throughout the floors and rooms of the building. Some of the hallways are a little narrow, so you will feel like an explorer as you reach all the nooks and crannies. This makes the hunt all the more exciting, as you never know what might be hidden around the next corner! On any given day, visitors can expect to find antique furniture, fine china, sports memorabilia, glassware, vintage toys, pottery, telephones, kitchenware, tools, bicycles, and more.
Union Street Antiques' hours vary throughout the year, with slightly shorter hours in the winter, so it is worth checking their website before planning a trip. However, they are open almost every day of the week. With such regular hours, it is great that they still manage to bring new items into the store often enough that there are always new items to see.
