The Weerselose Market is one of the most popular indoor and outdoor flea markets in the Netherlands. It is open for business every Saturday and selected Sundays each month, and between 1500 and 5000 shoppers stop by each market day to check out the wares. More than 200 traders set up shop each time the flea market opens its doors. Vendors run the gamut from antique collectors to those who have had their attics cleaned out. There is something to suit all tastes and, more importantly, all budgets!
In addition to the regular market days, the Weerselose Market also has special flea markets on selected dates throughout the year. These usually take place on national holidays. At these flea markets the area is expanded and filled with special musical artists and local bands. Each of these "bonus" markets is special in its own way. Hundreds of casual vendors offer special products and discounts. For younger visitors, Extra Markets may include free pony rides, a mini carnival, balloons, food trucks and more. Of course, you can still find great vintage goods and antiques at these events!
There is a small entrance fee of €1 per person to visit the Weerselose Market. This is more than worth it for the chance to spend a few hours in a fantastic atmosphere and pick up some bargains on collectibles. Children under 12 have free entry, as do dogs! Kids will enjoy the bouncy castle on site, and the whole family can enjoy refreshments in the restaurant. The main area of the flea market is open and covers 20,000 square meters, but there are also some covered areas, mainly dedicated to antiques, so that the market can be enjoyed in any weather.
Visitors to the Weerselose Market will find a wide variety of vintage items on display. A little bit of everything is for sale, from attic finds to pottery to furniture. Each market offers something different, so it is worth coming back each time!
