The Hallenflohmarkt Hauset in Raeren, Belgium, has a little bit of everything to satisfy everyone. Some stalls are set up by people who have recently cleaned out their attics, while others are filled with fine antiques and collectibles. Also known as the Megahalle Hausett, this flea market is located outside of Aachen, right in the middle of the countryside on the main road into the city. The only things in the immediate vicinity are fields and a few small residential areas. So you have to know it's there or you might miss it.
The clue that something great is going on at Hallenflohmarkt Hauset is the collection of large warehouses. One of them is dedicated to the flea market, with outdoor space for other vendors. With space for stalls both inside and out, this is the perfect flea market to visit come rain or shine. It is also held all year round, so a little shelter is essential for the sometimes unpredictable Belgian climate.
Since the Hallenflohmarkt Hauset iis open every weekend, it is a regular stop for many local shoppers and bargain hunters. New vendors are always welcome, and the constant influx of new blood makes for an ever-changing flea market. Of course, some of the vendors are regulars, but even these stalls ensure that there is something new to see most weekends.
The Hauset indoor flea market offers a fantastic mix of goods. Visitors will find vintage clothing, furniture, artwork, china, kitchenware, vintage books, vases, mirrors, candlesticks, lighting, ornaments, curios and much more. Refreshments are also available at this flea market so shoppers can replenish their energy and continue their treasure hunt!

27th September 2024 at 18:19Came here on a Saturday, Sept 2024. There was no outdoor market taking place, the indoor market / emporium is pretty good but quite small, maybe not worth a long trip to visit but if you’re in the area, definitely seek it out. I found a great dealer there who I bought some lovely mid-century bits from, at really fair prices, so I left happy.
